Cloud New Product/Solution Introduction Engineer
Key Responsibilities / Functions:
- Responsible for definition and execution of demos, proof of concept, type approvals tests, field trials, and in general any New Product/Feature/Application
- Introduction activity in the scope of ALU Cloud Solutions. (in most cases before the Solution passes DR4)
- Responsible for installation and deployment of new Product/Feature/Application in new customers’ sites. Senior on-site technical authority which has the complete ownership of all technical aspects of ALU Cloud Solutions while it is in NPI mode.
- Managing various deployment activities such as software installations commissioning migration, and technical project management activities which control the end to end technical status of the customer regarding ALU Cloud Solutions while in NPI mode.
- Performs new Products/Applications/Features preceding acceptance tests before field deployment. Focal point for new customers’ technical requests/problems/installations on customer’s premises.
- Managing the technical communication with Solutions R&D and QA and ensure smooth process flow between the on-site team and the R&D and QA teams. Support the other team on-site roles – Solution Architect, Business Manager Accountable from definition to validation / acceptance by the customer.
- Participates in the validation of the solution by QA/IPTC, and contributes to the documentation field.
- Trains and supports engineers from the Global Delivery Organization so that they can install and support the product in the field after DR4/DR5.

Real time Engineer
Virtualized Network Functions (VNFs) require strict real-time performance guarantees from the cloud infrastructure. The performance team investigates the means to meet with these requirements. Specifically, to improve the VNFs performance in a virtualized environment numerous hardware accelerations have been developed both in the hardware platform (CPU, chipset, NICs) and in the virtualization layer. The team will investigate and benchmark these accelerations and then expose them in Openstack (the virtualization infrastructure manager) to be used by the applications (VNFs).

Tricaster Operator - Streaming Engineer
Passionated for User Generated Content and news innovation. We’re looking for someone with at least 2 years’ experience working in a broadcast environment. Knowledge of the Tricaster and similar mixers is a must, experience with Air Cleaner technology would be a plus.
You also have knowledge of live streaming, RTMP-based workflows, video compression and video formats. Experience with LiveU based workflows and management of channels in LiveU Central, as well as experience in a busy Master Control Room also major advantages.
The Tricaster Operator - Streaming Engineer will be sourcing and editing live video content from our global community of contributors and stream the Output to our news partners around the world.This role will also require videoediting skills, such as Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro. Knowledge of Adobe After Effects would be a plus. The employee must have a strong understanding for news, what type of stories sell and how to present them to global audiences.
